We’re excited to announce that Quote & Apply, our leading software product for insurance agents, now supports Secondary Addressees. This feature allows users to add an additional contact if their insurance policy is about to lapse, ensuring that the policyholder and any other parties involved are kept informed and up-to-date.

With the addition of Secondary Addressees, insurance agents using Quote & Apply can now provide even more personalized service to their clients. This feature is particularly useful in situations where a policyholder may have multiple parties with an interest in their insurance policy, such as a spouse or business partner. By adding a Secondary Addressee, agents can ensure that these additional parties are notified if the policy is at risk of lapsing, allowing them to take action to prevent any gaps in coverage.

To use the Secondary Addressee feature in Quote & Apply, simply navigate through Quote & Apply and add the Secondary Addressee once you reach the “Backup Contact” step shown below.

From there, you can enter the contact information for the additional party. If the policy is about to lapse, both the policyholder and any Secondary Addressees will receive an email notification alerting them to the impending lapse and providing instructions for how to renew the policy.

At BackNine, we’re always striving to make our software as user-friendly and customizable as possible, and the addition of Secondary Addressees is just one example of how we’re working to achieve this goal. We hope that this new feature will help insurance agents provide even better service to their clients and ensure that all parties with an interest in a policy are kept informed and up-to-date on its status.
