What is BackNine?

BackNine is a brokerage general agency (also known as an insurance marketing organization) for fixed, indexed, and variable life insurance, fixed and indexed annuities, long-term care, and disability insurance. BackNine does not charge a fee for BOSS, Quote & Apply, or any other service. We earn a commission from insurance carriers as the general agent. In order to complete a Quote & Apply application, you’ll need to complete your contracting within BOSS > Settings. We use the contracting information you provide to appoint you with carriers once you submit an application for a carrier with which you don’t hold an appointment through BackNine. The carrier then pays you the agent commission and BackNine the general agent commission. You can view commission rates within BOSS > Commissions > Products.
