Quote & Apply's Custom Domain Feature

Most users embed Quote & Apply via this help center article instead of using BackNine’s Custom Domain feature.

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate Quote & Apply via a custom sub domain. The benefits of this feature are that it doesn’t require you to set or manage up the webpage and makes Quote & Apply accessible from your domain.

For example, custom sub domains makes Quote & Apply available on your sub domain (e.g., https://life.demoagency.com/AgentName instead of https://app.back9ins.com/apply/AgentName) and doesn’t require you to set up webpages for your agents.

To set up, email [email protected] the subdomain and domain you want to use (e.g., life.demoagency.com). When we reply, you’ll need to log into your domain’s DNS settings (e.g., GoDaddy), type in the subdomain you provided to [email protected] (e.g., life), and point it to the URL included in our email reply. After you save your DNS settings, email [email protected] again so we can activate your subdomain.

Afterward, your existing and future agents within BOSS will have a Quote & Apply website that uses your custom domain.

Case Study: a P&C agency wants each of its 200 agents to have a Quote & Apply website. Rather than embedding Quote & Apply into 200 pages, they created a subdomain for Quote & Apply, and all of their agents were emailed their Quote & Apply website using the agency’s domain.

There is a one-time charge of $1,000 to set up a custom domain (you can issue as many web pages as you’d like).
